• arranging transportation with carriers, employees, and customers
• providing secretarial support in capital and expense requisitions, completes documents, and follows-up on procurement
• supporting the department, including ordering office supplies, arranging services, etc.
• managing filing for the department to comply with document management policies.
• communicating with global customers by phone and email
• record keeping for federal reports such as dot, epa, osha, etc.
• maintain safety reports: osha, fire brigade, static sheets for the shop; manage vehicle/driver records
• work with corporate software packages to arrange shipments
• develop international paperwork for freight forwarders
• work with freight companies to arrange shipments: fedex, ups, pilot airfreight
• keeps all company records confidential and respects the secrecy of all information sent to and received from top management.
• dealing with correspondence, and taking minutes.
• organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
• to submit accurate, complete, honest & timely reports regarding accomplishments.
