Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary, empathetic, and experienced Head of School to lead Minerva Progressive School in its foundational phase. This role requires strong academic leadership, people management skills, and a deep understanding of early childhood education.
The Head of School will be responsible for shaping school culture, guiding teachers, ensuring academic quality, and aligning the schools practices with CBSE norms and NEP 2020 principles.
Key Responsibilities
Provide academic and administrative leadership for the school
Build and nurture a positive, respectful, and growth-oriented school culture
Lead curriculum planning and implementation for Playgroup to Grade 2
Mentor, support, and evaluate teachers with a focus on professional growth
Ensure compliance with CBSE guidelines and statutory requirements
Establish clear policies, systems, and processes for smooth school functioning
Foster strong communication with parents and stakeholders
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of teaching and non-teaching staff
Promote child-centric, experiential, and developmentally appropriate practices
Desired Profile
Masters degree in Education or a relevant field ( / preferred)
Minimum 710 years of experience in schools, including leadership roles
Strong understanding of early childhood education and child psychology
Familiarity with CBSE framework and NEP 2020
Proven ability to lead teams with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
