Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by building and managing a team of advisors, achieving sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service in health, life, and general insurance products.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

1. Business Development

• Generate new business in Health, Life & General Insurance

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

• Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base

2. Team Management

• Recruit, train, and develop insurance advisors

• Motivate and guide team members to achieve their targets

• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback

3. Sales Strategy

• Plan and execute sales strategies to increase revenue

• Conduct field visits and client meetings

• Support team in closing high-value deals

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with clients

• Ensure best-in-class service and claim support

• Handle escalations and resolve customer queries

5. Training & Development

• Provide continuous training to advisors on products & sales techniques

• Ensure team is updated with latest IRDAI guidelines and company policies

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Graduate (MBA preferred)

• Experience: 2-5 years in Insurance / BFSI sales

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Local market knowledge is an advantage
