Job Title: Sales Executive - Quotations & Order Conversion

📍 Job Location: Small Factory Area, Bagadganj, Nagpur, Maharashtra

Job Purpose

Convert customer enquiries into accurate, competitive quotations and confirmed orders while maintaining profitability and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Handle customer enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, email and GeM.

Understand customer requirements, including product specifications, grade, IS standards, thickness, width, coating, quantity and delivery timelines.

Obtain current supplier prices and freight rates to prepare quotations.

Calculate selling prices based on costs, customer margins, freight and GST.

Prepare and send quotations through the company's web application.

Follow up on quotations within 48 hours and negotiate with customers to convert enquiries into orders.

Coordinate with purchase and logistics teams after receiving purchase orders.

Maintain customer records, quotation history and order follow-ups.

Track competitor pricing, market trends and customer feedback.

Candidate Requirements

2-4 years of experience in B2B sales or sales coordination.

Experience in steel, metals or building materials will be preferred.

Good numerical and quotation preparation skills.

Basic understanding of steel specifications; product training will be provided.

Good communication and negotiation skills in Hindi and English.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, email, WhatsApp and web applications.

Strong follow-up, organisational and customer-handling skills.

Important

The role focuses on B2B wholesale sales, with a typical enquiry requirement of 25 metric tonnes or above.

Candidates should be comfortable handling pricing, quotations and order conversion.
