Job Overview
We are seeking a technically sound and target-driven Sales Engineer to join our Cutting Tools Division (CTD). In this role, you will be the primary link between our advanced machining products and precision engineering clients. Rather than standard product sales, you will practice consultative, application-based engineering-visiting factory shop floors, understanding client component drawings, and recommending optimal cutting tool solutions (such us milling cutters, carbide inserts, drills, and taps) to reduce cycle time and improve cost-per-component (CPC).
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Application Pitching: Visit automotive, aerospace, die-mold, and heavy engineering machine shops to understand their machining challenges. Pitch cutting tool solutions based on tool geometries, coating technologies, and grade -Site Tool Trials: Conduct live product trials and demonstrations on CNC, VMC, and HMC machines. Establish parameters such as cutting speed ($V_c$), feed rate ($f$), and depth of cut ($a_p$) to prove tool performance against competitors.
Value Engineering & Cost-Per-Component (CPC): Analyze customer components, identify bottlenecks, and document cycle-time reductions or increased tool-life data to establish clear payback and cost-saving metrics (CPC reports).New Customer Acquisition: Identify and map new machine shops, tool rooms, and manufacturing plants within the assigned industrial territory to systematically expand the client base.
Key Account Management: Maintain robust, long-term relationships with shop-floor operators, production supervisors, tooling heads, and purchase managers of existing corporate clients.
