Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor workplace safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Conduct safety induction programs and training sessions for employees and contractors.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases and prepare detailed reports.

Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across the workplace.

Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and compliance documentation.

Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, and evacuation procedures.

Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and HR teams to promote a safe working environment.

Ensure contractor safety compliance and monitor high-risk activities.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to occupational health and safety.
