We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Captain to join our team in the Netherlands. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a great dining experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Supervise Staff:** Oversee the front-of-house team to ensure excellent service. You will lead and guide staff to provide the best possible experience for guests.
- **Manage Reservations:** Handle guest reservations efficiently. You will ensure that all bookings are managed properly to avoid any overbooking or delays.
- **Greet and Seat Guests:** Welcome guests warmly as they arrive. You will ensure they are seated promptly and in a way that suits their preferences.
- **Ensure Quality Service:** Monitor dining room activities to maintain high service standards. This includes checking in with guests throughout their meals to address any needs.
- **Train New Employees:** Conduct training for new staff members. You will share your knowledge and help them integrate into the team smoothly.
- **Handle Guest Feedback:** Address any guest complaints or concerns quickly and effectively. Your role will involve listening to feedback and implementing solutions when needed.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
Candidates should have a diploma in hospitality or a related field, with 3 to 9 years of experience in a similar role. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. A keen attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset are crucial for enhancing the dining experience. Proficiency in English, and preferably another language, will be beneficial.
