Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiologist to join our hospital team. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, preparing accurate reports, supporting clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning, and maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI studies.
- Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
- Perform and/or supervise ultrasound and other image-guided procedures where applicable.
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and previous investigations.
- Communicate critical or urgent findings promptly to treating doctors.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards.
- Ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
- Coordinate with radiographers, technicians, nurses, and clinical departments.
- Ensure patient safety during diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions when required.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with the applicable medical council.
- Relevant hospital/diagnostic centre experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of diagnostic imaging and reporting standards.
