Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative . graduate in Organic Chemistry to lead our Research & Development team. As the R&D Head, you will oversee lab operations, design advanced chemical synthesis routes, and lead a team of junior chemists to drive product development from bench scale to tech transfer. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with 0-3 years of experience who is ready to step into a leadership role in process research and development.

Key Responsibilities

R&D Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of R&D Chemists (.) to ensure efficient execution of daily lab experiments and project timelines.

Route Scouting & Synthesis: Design, optimize, and execute novel, cost-effective, and scalable synthetic routes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates.

Process Optimization: Troubleshoot challenging chemical reactions and optimize process parameters (yield, purity, safety, and throughput) for scale-up.

Analytical Interpretation: Characterize and interpret complex organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, and FTIR.

Technology Transfer: Collaborate with the pilot plant and production teams to ensure smooth technology transfer (Kilo-lab to commercial production).

Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety protocols, and corporate compliance guidelines.

Documentation: Review and maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and compile comprehensive R&D reports/dossiers.
