Job Description

1) perform quality checks at various stages of the manufacturing process (casting, filing, setting, polishing, etc.).

2) inspect gold ornaments for defects in finishing, setting, design accuracy, and overall craftsmanship.

3)verify ornament specifications as per design, order details, and customer requirements

4) identify issues such as loose stones, uneven polishing, improper soldering, design mismatch, or weight discrepancies.

5) tag and separate defective or rework-required items with proper documentation.

6) ensure proper handling of gold items during the inspection process to avoid loss or damage.

7) coordinate with production and karigar teams for timely rectification of issues.

8) maintain records of qc checks, rework reports, rejection logs, and final approval status.

9) ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.

10) assist in developing quality improvement processes and sops.

11) report daily qc status and escalate major quality issues to management.
