we are looking for following position

purchase specialist for ludhiana - punjab location for cement industry

qualification - bachelor's in engineering

salary - 8lpa to 10 lpa

exp - 7 to 10 years

preferred industry- cement, steel, power, epc projects, or heavy engineering

key responsibilities:

1. coordinate with teams to understand capex requirements.

2. prepare procurement schedules in line with project timelines and execution plans.

3. source and procure plant & machinery, structural items, e&i items, mechanical equipment along with any other items as assigned by superiors.

4. maintain a strong vendor database for domestic and international suppliers.

5. negotiate prices, delivery terms, payment terms, and warranty/amc clauses etc.

6. achieve savings against budgeted procurement costs without compromising on quality/specs.

7. ensure procurement as per company policies and statutory norms.

skills:

strong experience into the purchase, procurement & of capex procurement in cement or process industries

sound understanding of project boq, technical specifications, and engineering drawings
