Education

• . (Chemistry) / Diploma or ./. (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent.

Experience

• 2-5 years in production or plant operations, preferably in chemical, speciality chemical or other process manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience making production and inventory entries in an ERP system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Operations

• Execute daily production plans as per the schedule issued by the head office.

ERP & Data Management

• Create and close production orders/batches in the ERP on the same day of production.

Quality Control

• Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.

Manpower Management

• Supervise operators and helpers; allocate manpower across shifts and activities.

Machine & Process Management

• Coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

Inventory & Material Control

• Monitor raw material consumption against standards and control wastage.

Dispatch & Transport

• Plan and arrange transport (vehicles/transporters) for dispatches as per the order schedule.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements, including safe chemical handling and PPE use.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily production reports and monthly MIS from ERP and plant data.
