Job Title Production Manager /Furniture Industries/(Commercial-Interior Designing) Bhiwandi/Thane/Maharashtra

Department Production

Roles and Responsibilities Production :

�� Prepare a production plan in coordination with the Sales and design team

�� Coordinate with the Purchase team on raw materials. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production plan

�� Prepare process flow, an work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design and Management on the progress of the project

�� Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawings and specification for any queries and clarifications essential for the production

�� Ensure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achieved

�� Ensure that the installations manufactured are of consistent quality

�� Highlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and Management

�� Analyze the root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the re occurrence

�� Measure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve production

�� Device maintenance plan for the shop floor

�� Analyze the requirement of new machinery to increase productivity/ new product line and accordingly present the case to Management for approval and purchase

Team Management

�� Train the production team adequately on quality system, understanding of the design drawings, work instructions and quality check points

�� To maintain shop floor discipline and housekeeping

�� Motivate shop floor team and instill teamwork

�� Train the team on quality and ensure that production downtime is reduced and process capability is improved. Develop the production team to be multi-skilled

�� Periodically generating performance report of team & provide necessary feedback / mentoring/ assistance to upscale over all team performance

�� Team Welfare - Grievance, Communication, Motivation & Attrition Management.
