Opening For Procurement Manager

€¢ Oversee all spend activity and procurement requests for assigned category areas and determine proper action plan for all that meet the procurement involvement threshold ( strategically source, user purchase, contracting )

€¢ Maintenance of approved vendor contact lists and approved ,IT /Non IT Products and services lists

€¢ Negotiate medium to large contracts with suppliers in spend areas

€¢ Track Delivery of the material and processing of bills/Payments

€¢ Plan, direct and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, RFP/bid review, supplier management

€¢ Multi-million-dollar savings and meeting targeted savings goals

€¢ Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers and distributors during procurement and management of goods and services

€¢ Ensure compliance with regulations and practices by maintaining an ethical stance through and through

€¢ Boost cost savings by analyzing market trends and technologies that promote it

€¢ Document, log and report on procurement activities

€¢ Approve purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services

€¢ Build and foster long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers

€¢ Analyze service-level compliance to ensure that required services are provided and meet the budgeted timeline, quality and costs

€¢ Guides project team, functions and geographies in developing and managing the overall approach for procurement shared services implementation, ensuring all related projects is in alignment

€¢ Leads Strategic Sourcing process, with proven procurement success in leading edge technologies
