Job Description

key responsibilities

• machine operations

o operate rotogravure and flexo printing machines efficiently and ensure optimal

printing quality.

o set up machines before shifts begin, including loading raw materials and inks.

• printing & production

o prepare and follow printing schedules as per daily production planning.

o conduct regular quality checks during production to ensure bags meet required

specifications.

o adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.

• maintenance & troubleshooting

o perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.

o report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance or factory management.

o assist in minor repairs and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.

• safety & cleanliness

o follow all safety protocols while operating machines.

o maintain cleanliness and organisation around the machine area.

• record keeping

o maintain logs of production output, downtime, maintenance, and material usage.

key requirements

• experience: minimum 1-3 years of experience operating paper bag making machines or

printing machines (rotogravure / flexo) in a manufacturing setup.

• technical skills:

o understanding of printing processes (flexo and rotogravure).

o basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and adjustments.

• physical fitness: ability to stand for long hours and handle physical tasks.

• work attitude: disciplined, punctual, quality-conscious, and safety-oriented.
