responsibilities:
create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 2-5, based on the preschool's philosophy and goals.
plan and lead engaging and interactive lessons and activities that promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
assess children's progress regularly, using a variety of methods such as observation, documentation, and assessment tools.
communicate regularly with parents/guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
maintain a safe and secure learning environment, following best practices for health and safety in a preschool setting.
collaborate with other members of the preschool staff to ensure a high-quality program and positive learning environment for all children.
requirements:
a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
previous experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices for early childhood education.
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
ability to work collaboratively with other members of the preschool staff and adapt to changing circumstances.
commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
