Major Roles & Responsibilities
Patient Assessment
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, medical history, and functional abilities.
Diagnose movement disorders and identify underlying causes of pain or impairment.
Treatment Planning
Develop individualized physiotherapy plans based on patient needs and goals.
Set short-term and long-term rehabilitation objectives.
Therapeutic Interventions
Administer treatments such as exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other modalities.
Guide patients in performing therapeutic exercises for mobility, strength, and flexibility.
Rehabilitation & Recovery Support
Assist patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, strokes, or chronic conditions.
Support long-term rehabilitation for improving independence and quality of life.
Education & Guidance
Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, posture correction, and home-based exercises.
Provide advice on lifestyle changes to support physical well-being.
Progress Monitoring & Documentation
Track patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and rehabilitation reports.
Collaboration & Multidisciplinary Care
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Injury Prevention & Wellness Programs
Design and implement preventive care programs for workplaces, athletes, or community groups.
