Institute of Optometry,Ayodhya Eye Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer (Optometry) to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, and academic development of optometry students.

Qualifications:

• Master of Optometry (m) – Mandatory

• m from a recognized institution

• Relevant professional registration (if applicable)

Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience (after masters)in Optometry

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, practicals, and clinical training to optometry students

• Supervise students during clinical postings and internships

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, and assessments

• Conduct internal exams, evaluations, and academic activities

• Mentor students and junior faculty

• Participate in curriculum development and academic administration

• Ensure ethical practice and patient safety during clinical teaching

Skills Required:

• Strong teaching and clinical knowledge in Optometry

• Good communication and mentoring skills

• Ability to work in a hospital-academic environment
