Candidate should have worked in New Product Development Industry

Should have experience in designing & setting up production line, line layout

Should have experience in designing Jigs & Fixtures required for assembly of the products

Should have experience designing the complete production flow for the components and products related to appliance industries or automobile industry.

Should have experience of executing the New Product Development projects

Should have knowledge about Six Sigma Design Quality tools like FMEA, QFD, TA etc

Should be a good team player

Should be self-starter.

Preferably Six Sigma Green Belt

Job Description

Work in close association with R&D team from the early stage of the project and provide insights about manufacturing limitations at the early stage of the product development.

Manage, drive & deliver the project schedule and project commitments.

Developing design of various components which is in compliance to the manufacturing process like plastic molding, press, welding, casting, extrusion, rubber molding etc

Coordinating with the customer and understanding the product requirements and develop the product accordingly

Coordinating with vendors while developing the product, like

Prototype making suppliers

Various component tool makers component manufacturers like plastic molding, sheet metal, welding, casting, extrusion, rubber molding etc

Key component suppliers like motors etc

Various testing and certifying laboratories.

Review and monitor release of the components drawing and complete product technical documentation.

Review & Monitor Release of the components developed by the suppliers

Responsible for tracking and implementing the required design changes along with the technical documentation of the changes.

Monitoring the implementation of the required design changes right from components sample stage to product final product stage including various rounds of in-between trial / sample making runs using.
