Knowledge and Skills:

Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Able to communicate with stakeholders like Panchayat level and rural youth effectively and build relationships

Candidates should know the local language, culture, social structure, and geography of the district.

Basic knowledge about the DDU-GKY programme

Willingness to travel to remote locations

Ability to work under pressure and disciplined

Knowledge of tools and techniques of community mobilization

Knowledge of Govt. skill development project specially DDU-GKY Good and effective communication in Kannada, English

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Mobilize candidates from the rural areas to enroll qualified youths for the program.

2. Build a relationship with key stakeholders and explain the key features of the DDU-GKY Programme at the district, GP and village levels.

3. Articulate future benefits of the training to the rural youth and their families.

4. Use IT tools like Kaushal Panjee, MSOffice.

5. Readiness-Foresee the candidates requirements as per the category and mobilize candidates for upcoming batches.

6. Attending Gram Panchayath meetings and ZP office meetings for mobilization of candidates for the program, and source candidates through different channels.

7. Follow the complete process of collecting the documents, checking for edibility as per DDU-GKY Policy & submitting the same at the training Centre.

8. Ensure that mobilized students attend the training program as per the date communicated by DDU-GKY.

9. Prepare an action plan and submit weekly reports to the State office.

10. Ensure that participants are regular in the course and discipline, in case of drop out need to follow up with the candidate for the same.
