Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience of working independently in branded & accredited pathology laboratory. He / She will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.

The goal is to increase walk in / footfalls in the lab along with improved communication & relationship with the local communities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Request for the doctors prescription and bill.

Verifying the bill amount and investigations required.

Greeting the patients in warmly manner and making him / her comfortable for the test.

Documenting and updating the result data.

Review of test results during off-duty hours.

Delivery of reports on time to the concerned department.

Maintaining the confidentiality of all information pertaining to patients.

Addressing all technical queries of patients.

Collecting the samples and appropriate storage of the same.

Attending all emergency cases with high priority.

Maintaining cleanliness in the stocks, instruments and also in the workstations.

Maintain hygiene while handling patients and doing various tests.

Maintain all the records and documentation accurately as per policies and NABL/NABH standards.

Home visits for sample collection.

Coordinating camps

Meeting with doctors and other labs for networking

Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.

Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position.

Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances.

In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management), preventative measures and laboratory best practices
