Key Responsibilities:

Preventative Maintenance:

Conducting regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing mechanical issues, identifying the root cause, and performing necessary repairs or replacements.

Installation and Upgrades:

Assisting with the installation of new equipment, as well as upgrading existing systems to improve efficiency and performance.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and equipment performance.

Safety Compliance:

Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.

Collaboration:

Working with other departments, such as operations and production, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.

Supervision and Training:

May be involved in supervising and training junior maintenance staff.

Cost Management:

Contributing to the maintenance budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluating new technologies and suggesting improvements to equipment reliability and performance.
