K9hr Solutions is Looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer as follows:

A Casting Line Mechanical Maintenance Engineer ensures smooth foundry operations by managing preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, repairing hydraulic/pneumatic systems, installing new equipment, and optimizing machine uptime for casting, molding, and auxiliary machinery (furnaces, blasting, etc.), focusing on safety, quality, and minimizing downtime through strong technical skills, planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement schedules for routine checks, lubrication, and condition monitoring on casting machines (molding, core-making, Disamatic), sand plants, furnaces (induction/cupola), blasting, and utilities.

Breakdown & Repair: Rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical failures in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize production loss.

Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the setup and startup of new machinery and upgrades.

Spare Parts & Inventory: Manage spare parts inventory, create purchase requests, and ensure availability for planned and unplanned maintenance.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, update equipment records, and prepare reports on performance and maintenance activities.

Safety & Quality: Ensure all maintenance adheres to strict safety standards (5S, compliance) and quality procedures, reducing rejections.

Team & Project Leadership: Coordinate maintenance technicians, manage external vendors, and potentially lead utility projects.
