maintenance planning & scheduling
develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all mechanical equipment.
schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
equipment inspection & troubleshooting
inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
perform corrective maintenance to restore equipment functionality.
root cause & failure analysis
conduct root cause analysis (rca) for mechanical failures and recurring breakdowns.
implement corrective and preventive actions (capa) to eliminate re occurrence.
equipment reliability & performance monitoring
monitor equipment performance using vibration analysis, thermography, and other diagnostic tools.
recommend improvements to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
documentation & reporting
maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts usage in cmms (computerized maintenance management system).
prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and performance summaries.
spare parts & inventory management
manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
safety, quality & compliance
ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
conduct safety inspections and participate in risk assessments.
team coordination & training
supervise and guide technicians or maintenance staff during repair and overhauling tasks.
provide technical training and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures.
project & upgrade support
support plant modifications, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
collaborate with design and project teams for mechanical upgrades or new installations.
continuous improvement & cost optimization
identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
participate in lean maintenance initiatives and reliability-centered maintenance (rcm) programs.
