Hiring Mechanical Fitter For Howrah

Job Summary:

Responsible for assembling, dismantling, repairing, maintaining, and fitting mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and dismantle motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment.

Perform fitting, alignment, coupling, bearing replacement, and maintenance activities.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment.

Inspect components for wear, damage, and dimensional accuracy.

Assist in installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of machinery.

Maintain workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of mechanical fitting, alignment, and maintenance techniques.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges.

Understanding of bearings, couplings, shafts, and mechanical assemblies.

Qualification:

Experience in industrial maintenance, motor repair, or machine assembly preferred.
