Opening For Mechanical Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and models using SolidWorks, supporting the design and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks

Interpret and convert design concepts into technical drawings

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines

Collaborate with engineers and production teams to support manufacturing processes

Modify and update existing drawings as required

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation

Assist in product development and improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BE in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, and drafting)

Good understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, casting, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Attention to detail and accuracy

Basic knowledge of materials and tolerances
