Marine Officer - Full Time

As a Marine Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine activities. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience. You will be based in our Mumbai office and work full-time.

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring Marine Operations: You will ensure that all marine activities are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.

- Conducting Inspections: Regular inspections of vessels and equipment will be part of your role to maintain safety and compliance with maritime regulations.

- Reporting and Documentation: You will prepare and maintain accurate reports and records of marine operations, incidents, and safety checks for review and audits.

- Coordinating with Team Members: Collaborating with other officers and team members to streamline operations and address any operational challenges will be essential.

- Training and Safety Compliance: Assisting in onboard training for crew members about safety protocols and emergency procedures to promote a culture of safety will be part of your responsibilities.

Required skills and expectations:

You should possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field. Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to work effectively with diverse teams. A basic understanding of marine regulations and operations is needed, along with problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise. A keen attention to detail will help in conducting inspections and maintaining documentation. Being able to work well under pressure is also important, as you will be involved in time-sensitive operations.
