o Design Software �� AutoCad, Solidworks & FEA

o Education �� or Mechanical

o Experience working in a supervisory role in the manufacturing industry preferred

o Experience in Design & Development of heavy machines

o Led multi-disciplinary engineering team comprising of Mechanical, Electrical &

Automation, Manufacturing

o Assembly and Trial & Testing

o Able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously

o Knowledge of 5S, Lean, TQM, Kaizen must

o Ability to plan & assign work responsibilities to draftsmen

o Organizational skills & willingness to take accountability

o Computer Skills �� MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

ï‚· Job Responsibilities & Duties

o Design & Development

 New product development.

 Work closely with draftsmen by providing necessary guidance & approval

to them during drafting activity of machines

 Discuss & clarify drawing related issues with our manufacturing vendors as

and when needed.

 Discuss requirements with customers to provide solutions as per their

requirement

 Travel to different places for studying machines for new product

development.

 Prepare bought out list for machines as per annexure & give it to

commercial team for ordering

 Continuously focus on reducing cost �� Selecting right material, reducing

cutting allowance, reducing machining, etc

 Maintaining & updating drawing records for all the machines drawings

created & handed for manufacturing

 Work closely with manufacturing team for any design modifications or

manufacturing activity related support.

 Point of contact for manufacturing team for design department.

 Time to time reporting to management for work planning.
