- experience of managing machining shop with 20+ cnc, vmc, grinding machines

- should be able to manage new product development with optimum cost, quality and process parameters

- optimise manufacturing processes and cost

- experience in qms and scm

- thorough understanding of quality standard iatf

- interact with the customers and key suppliers

- plan and control production activities based on the manufacturing schedules

- do root cause analysis of any rejection to correct the process and prevent any future rejections

- work with quality assurance and production heads for improving quality and productivity

- manage new product development

qualifications & experience:

- engineering degree / diploma holder of mechanical engineering

- relevant experience of 15-20 years in engineering machining shop

skills and abilities

- good people management skills

- good knowledge of ms suites and erp system

- good written and verbal communication skills

- quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- strong sense of time organization and urgency

- decision making

- able to work with the superiors, subordinates as well as independently
