LEAN ENGINEER @ TIRUNELVELI

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Process Setup

Streamlining and optimizing supply chain management.

Setting up the processes to meet the quality parameters in sourcing and supplying.

Setting up optimal warehouse processes like inward, outward, stock maintenance.

2. Problem-solving capability Resolving issues in the sourcing process to maximize procurement and minimize wastage.

3. Teamwork - Coordinating and helping other teams like the sourcing team, warehouse team, accounts team, HR & compliance team etc.

4. Maintaining Reports and Stocks Updating raw material stock report daily.

5. Operations - Manage timely delivery of raw materials, stock maintenance, introducing cost-cutting methods, improving bark segregation processes or techniques.

6. Asset repairs and maintenance - maintaining all the tools and equipment in good condition, to ensure that productivity is not hindered.

7. Reporting - Daily updates and reporting to the Sourcing Manager and other dotted line managers on a need basis.

8. People Management Evaluating, monitoring and guiding team members in their performance management.

9. Compliance - Ensuring that the basic compliance enforced by both the Compliance manager and HR is maintained properly.

10. Respect the Duty - Must be extremely punctual and Discipline. A good hard worker and a smart worker. Should be able to communicate effectively as and when any problem arises.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

1. Technical Skills - Excellent Excel skills and basics of Presentation and Word.

2. Communication - Comfortable in Tamil and English.

3. Education - Engineering graduate, preferably in production and LEAN.

4. Experience - Minimum 3-5 years experience in any production or in farm activities.
