key responsibilities
-candidate has work experience programming, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems in a variety of industries (. pharma & food processing.)
-should be sound enough to decide on the plc/hmi/scada models as per the customers urs.
-should be able to make an i/o list as per the urs and p&id.
-should be able to write programming logic as per the project.
-ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain a schedule for multiple projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
-ability to evaluate and convey the contractual scope of work and the impact of client-issued bulletins and/or scheduling changes to the assigned project manager.
-background in electrical and instrumentation wiring and troubleshooting an asset.
-experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
-can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
-experience reading electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and pi&d drawings.
-must have an appropriate college or graduate degree in electrical/electronic or computer engineering/ instrumentation.
-programming experience with .net, c/c++, c#, vb/, sql/tsql/sql+, or other high-level languages is a strong asset.
-electrical design/drafting experience with autocad electrical, eplan, promise, etc. is a definite asset.
-flexible working hours with the ability to travel on occasion.
-strong written and oral english communication skills. any other spoken or written language would be considered an asset.
-strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
-must have experience in pharma equipment & process
-preparation of functional specification and validation documents consider assets.
