Key Responsibilities:
1. Research legal issues: Conduct research on various legal topics to provide accurate and up-to-date information for client cases.
2. Legal drafting: Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal paperwork as needed for court cases.
3. Client representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal matters under the supervision of senior advocates.
4. Case preparation: Assist in gathering and organizing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing strategies for client cases.
5. Court appearances: Attend court appearances as required and assist in presenting arguments and evidence on behalf of clients.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. LLB degree: Must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.
2. Strong legal research skills: Ability to research and analyze legal issues effectively to support client cases.
3. Attention to detail: Must pay close attention to detail when drafting legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
4. Excellent communication skills: Must have strong communication skills to effectively represent clients in court and communicate with legal colleagues.
