Java Technical Manager

• Give oversight and direction on strategy, standards, and opportunities for economies of scale.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading product engineering teams.

• Experience working with programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, Angular JS, React JS etc.

• Experience working with database technologies like Oracle, MSSQL, PostGres, Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB etc.

• Experience working with dev-ops technologies like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab etc.

• Experience working with cloud native technologies on AWS, Azure and GCP cloud platforms.

• Providing technical leadership to the engineering teams building the platform features.

• Collaborating with engineers and data science teams to help select the right technologies.

• Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high-performance engineering team.

• Lead engineering initiatives to improve coding and design standards.

• Helping the product teams to define core platform features.

• Identifying key competency gaps and facilitating training for the engineering team.

• Researching, designing and implementing new platform features.

• Conduct technical demos and proof-of-concepts with the pre-sales engineering team.

• Shown team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done.
