job description:

- must have prerequisites: java/j2ee, spring boot, web services (soap/rest), oracle pl/sql

- the chosen person should be technical professional, with proven abilities in the areas of java development and implementation.

- the person must have excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. the person should have a technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.

core skills :

- demonstrable experience in core java ( or higher) and spring framework (core, aop, batch, jms).

- strong experience of developing multi-threaded and synchronization application

- strong experience required in web services (soap and rest). prior experience with jms/ibm mq will be an added advantage.

- demonstrated delivery experience of microservices apis using springboot

- experience of using git/bitbucket, maven/bamboo, & related tools

- exposure to continuous integration using devops

- demonstrable experience in oracle pl/sql development and activities like performance tuning / optimization.

- good understanding of agile delivery methodology & experience in working with scrum teams

- knowledge of payments domain specifically transaction management

other skills :

- knowledge of other banking systems & digital channels

- database querying tools & data analytics

- experience in camel integration framework.

- experience in big data technologies (apache spark, will be an added advantage.

- experience of working in openshift platform

- ui development experience in javascript framework like backbone, nodejs and angular is preferred.

- experience in working and implementing solution using nosql technology such as mongo, hadoop etc.
