key responsibilities:
•assemble, install, and align mechanical components, machinery, and equipment as per technical specifications and blueprints/drawings/designs.
•perform various types of welding to fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts and structures.
•ensure proper preparation of materials before welding (cleaning, grinding, etc.).
•utilize fabrication skills to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts for various projects.
•follow safety guidelines while working with welding equipment.
•use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to fit parts together precisely.
perform routine maintenance to ensure tools & machinery operates efficiently and to prevent breakdowns.
•repair or replace faulty components such as gears, bearings, shafts, and valves.
fabricate parts using tools like drill machines, grinders, and welding equipment when required.
read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand specifications.
•follow standard operating procedures (sops) and safety guidelines as specified during installation and maintenance.
work with engineers, electricians, and other technicians to complete projects actively.
•communicate progress and challenges with supervisors or project managers.
ensure workplace with specified safety standards and regulations.
•properly handle hazardous materials, tools, and equipment to avoid accidents.
•maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety.
physical requirements:
ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects.
comfortable working with heavy machinery and tools.
capable of working in various environmental conditions (., noise, heat, etc.).
