job summary

responsibilities and duties

· to carry out maintenance effectively within the budget and adhering to cost control.

· desktop installation and hardware troubleshooting

· office - install, email configuration and troubleshoot windows drivers installation

· basic lan troubleshooting

· procurement of spares and maintain stock of critical spares.

· troubleshoot and rectify general maintenance related machine faults within reasonable time frame to ensure maximum availability of equipment's.

· performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and maintain report.

· assists in ensuring all required critical spare parts are identified, ordered and stocked.

· understand and follow all workplace safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.

· assist in updating of maintenance records like daily work handovers, maintenance check list, machines status report history reports and tickets etc.

· undertake any training as required and ensure working knowledge is kept current.

· responsible to help out during installation / development work.

· responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work area

· installation, managing and troubleshooting windows desktops.

· installation and troubleshooting of windows operating system issues.

· would be a add-on if knowledgeable about lan/wan networks and linux.

required experience, skills and qualifications

· qualification: engineering in electrical/ electronics & telecommunication/ instrumental engineering./bsc-it/ be-computer science.

· experience: 1- 3 yrs

· comfortable to work in rotational shifts
