meet with clients to discuss their design vision and understand their requirements and preferences

create design concepts and drawings, and present them to clients for approval

research and source materials, products, and finishes that fit the design concept and budget

plan the layout of interior spaces, considering factors like space functionality, furnishings, and aesthetics

coordinate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure design plans are accurately executed

adhere to local and national building codes, laws, and regulations in design plans

monitor the implementation of the design on-site, ensuring it aligns with the agreed-upon concept

adjust designs and plans as needed throughout the project, addressing any issues that arise

manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently

stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and incorporate them as appropriate into design plans
