Interior Designer

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer with a background in hospitality to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, detail oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development: Create impactful design concepts, mood boards, and narratives tailored to each hospitality project.

Space Planning: Develop functional, guest-friendly layouts considering flow, usability, and aesthetics.

Material Selection: Choose finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with brand identity and durability needs.

Client & Team Collaboration: Present ideas, gather feedback, and work closely with architects, project managers, and vendors.

Project Execution: Prepare drawings, 3D renders, documentation, and ensure smooth execution through site visits and contractor coordination.

Quality & Compliance: Maintain design integrity, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum years of experience in interior design, with a focus on hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, lounges, etc.).

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Revit, 3D modeling, etc.).

• Strong portfolio showcasing previous hospitality projects (both conceptual and executed).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong creative vision with a deep understanding of hospitality design trends and user experience.

• Excellent space planning and layout design skills.

• Knowledge of furniture, lighting, finishes, and material selection specifically for hospitality spaces.

• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices in interior design.

Additional Qualities:

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Client-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

• Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

Desirable Qualities:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

• 1-3 years of experience with high-end, luxury hospitality projects.

• Familiarity with hospitality branding and identity design.

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
