HVAC Engineer (Estimation)

Responsibilities:

Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related software

Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects

Establish and maintain vendor relationships

Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs

Interact with the sales and project management teams to insure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents

Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with Quickpen software and estimating systems preferred

Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
