The HR is responsible for creating the policies and programs that will attract, develop, and retain employees. This includes creating HR policies, employee handbooks, benefits packages, and training programs. The HR Manager is also responsible for recruiting new hires and retaining current employees.
Responsibilities:
Create HR policies, employee handbooks, benefits packages, and training programs
Recruit new hires and retain current employees
Work with management to create recruitment plans for open positions
Maintain a database of all employees including contact information
Conduct interviews to determine the best candidate for job openings
Interviews potential employees to determine eligibility for employment
Negotiate salaries with hiring managers
Hire employees on a part time or full time basis depending on the needs of the company
Provide orientation to new hires
Provide performance reviews to employees based on their performance
