Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled Gypsum Board Worker to handle the installation, finishing, and repair of gypsum/drywall boards in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in framing, cutting, fitting, and finishing gypsum boards.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards to walls, ceilings, and partitions.

Install metal or wooden frames for drywall support.

Tape joints and seams between drywall panels.

Apply putty/compound and sand the surface for a smooth finish.

Repair or replace damaged gypsum board surfaces.

Follow drawings, layouts, and safety procedures.

Operate hand and power tools like saws, drills, screw guns, etc.

Clean and maintain work area after completion.

Qualifications:

8th/10th pass or equivalent; ITI or vocational training preferred.

Proven experience in gypsum board work or drywall installation.

Familiarity with basic construction tools and safety practices.

Physically fit and able to lift and move materials.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of ceiling tile systems (POP, grid ceiling, etc.).

Experience in reading architectural drawings and taking site measurements.

Plastering, sanding, and painting experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

May require working at heights (on scaffolding/ladders).

Must follow proper safety gear and site regulations.

Work may be indoors or outdoors depending on the project.
