Ground Staff are responsible for handling all airport operations on the ground, ensuring smooth passenger service, safety, and coordination between airline and airport departments. They play a key role in check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and customer service.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Passenger Handling

Assist passengers during check-in and boarding process

Verify tickets, ID proof, and travel documents

Issue boarding passes and seat assignments

Provide special assistance to elderly, disabled, or VIP passengers

2. Baggage Handling

Accept and tag checked baggage

Ensure baggage complies with airline weight and safety rules

Coordinate with baggage handling teams

Handle lost, delayed, or damaged baggage complaints

3. Customer Service

Answer passenger queries regarding flights, delays, and policies

Provide information on schedules, gates, and airport facilities

Resolve complaints professionally and quickly

Maintain high customer satisfaction

4. Boarding & Departure Duties

Announce boarding information

Verify boarding passes and documents

Ensure orderly boarding process

Coordinate with cabin crew and pilots

5. Safety & Security Compliance

Follow airport safety and security procedures

Ensure compliance with aviation regulations

Report suspicious activities or safety hazards

6. Flight Operations Coordination

Coordinate with airline staff, ATC, and airport authorities

Assist in flight arrivals and departures

Handle delays, cancellations, and rescheduling

🎓 Educational Qualification
