Job Summary:

The Ground Handling Staff is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe handling of aircraft on the ground. This includes managing passenger boarding and disembarkation, baggage and cargo handling, aircraft cleaning, and coordination with flight crews and other airport departments. The role plays a critical part in maintaining on-time performance and excellent service standards.

* Marshal aircraft to and from gates or parking areas.

* Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail.

* Operate ground support equipment (baggage tugs, belt loaders, etc.).

* Assist passengers with boarding and deplaning.

* Conduct security checks and ensure proper handling of items.

* Maintain communication with flight crews, dispatch, and ramp control.

* Perform aircraft interior cleaning and catering setup as needed.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

* Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.

* Provide excellent customer service and resolve passenger concerns when required.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience in airport ground handling or related field preferred.

* Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

* Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and flexible shifts (weekends, holidays).

* Good communication skills and teamwork.

* Basic knowledge of safety procedures and aviation regulations.

* Valid driver’s license (required for operating ground vehicles).

* Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

* Exposure to loud noise and outdoor weather conditions.
