Job Description

ground staff, also known as ground crew, are responsible for a variety of tasks at an airport, including:

passenger assistance: greeting passengers, answering questions, and helping with special needs or disabilities

check-in: checking in baggage, confirming reservations, and issuing tickets

flight operations: ensuring flights are on time, boarding passengers, and loading and unloading luggage

security: screening passengers and luggage for security purposes

cabin services: stocking the aircraft with refreshments and ensuring it's clean before departure

airport lounge services: ensuring passengers have a good experience in the lounge

flight delays: assisting passengers whose flights are delayed or canceled

baggage delivery: ensuring all baggage is delivered to the correct destination

taxi spots: indicating to pilots which taxi spots to use after landing
