Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in loading and unloading luggage and cargo: Help in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft.
2. Marshalling aircraft during arrival and departure: Guide pilots to park aircraft and ensure safe movement on the ground.
3. Operate ground service equipment: Drive and operate equipment such as tugs, aircraft stairs, and belt loaders to assist in the handling of aircraft.
4. Perform safety inspections: Conduct routine checks on equipment and facilities to ensure they meet safety standards.
5. Communicate with flight crew and ground control: Maintain clear and effective communication with pilots, ground control, and other staff for smooth operations.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Physically fit: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions.
2. Good communication skills: Able to effectively communicate with team members and other staff.
3. Basic knowledge of aircraft handling: Familiarity with aircraft operations and safety procedures.
4. Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and ensure all tasks are completed correctly.
5. Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts and weekends as required in a fast-paced environment.
