Front Desk Officer - Axis Bank

Job Role:

Welcome and assist walk-in customers at the branch.

Handle customer queries regarding accounts, banking services and transactions.

Assist with Savings Account / Current Account (CASA) opening and documentation.

Process routine branch transactions and service requests accurately.

Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.

Generate leads for CASA and other banking products.

Cross-sell products such as credit/debit cards, insurance, mutual funds and other financial products, depending on the assigned role.

Maintain daily reports and customer records.

Ensure proper KYC, AML and internal bank process compliance.

Coordinate with branch staff and support smooth day-to-day branch operations.

Skills Required

Basic computer knowledge / MS Office

Good presentation and interpersonal skills

Problem-solving ability

Attention to detail

Ability to handle multiple customers and work under pressure

Sales and convincing skills are useful because the role can include lead generation and cross-selling.
