ensure materials meet regulatory and environmental standards.
quality control
conduct regular checks to maintain packaging consistency, sealing, labeling, and product integrity.
investigate and resolve quality issues or non-conformities.
regulatory compliance
ensure all packaging meets legal labeling requirements (nutritional info, batch no., expiry date, etc.).
stay updated with government and international packaging regulations.
coordinate with production and supply chain
collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for timely packaging and dispatch.
plan and maintain packaging inventory levels.
optimize packaging for shelf life and cost
design or suggest packaging methods that extend product shelf life while being cost-effective.
implement sustainable or eco-friendly packaging solutions.
maintain documentation and reports
record batch packaging details, inspections, and incidents.
prepare reports on packaging efficiency, wastage, and material usage.
train and supervise staff
train packaging staff on sops, safety, and hygiene protocols.
ensure team adherence to company policies and standards.
troubleshoot equipment issues
identify and resolve packaging machine issues.
coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing.
