key responsibilities:
• develop records management processes and policies
• identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• set up and maintain automated data processes
• identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
• produce and track key performance indicators
• develop and support reporting processes
• monitor and audit data quality
• liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
• gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
• manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to the business
• prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
• create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations using company’s software.
• provide sector and competitor benchmarking
• mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
• work closely with the operations manager to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.
candidate profile:
• bachelor’s degree in finance and/or math and/or statistics and/or economics and/or computer science.(preferably acca/aca with 3-5 years experience in big 4 audit firm)
• several years of experience in data analysis within the fmcg/beverage industry is considered an advantage
• strong attention to detail
• ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company
• the position requires proficiency in excel. experience with sap analytics would be considered an advantage
