Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer - with 5 years of hands-on expertise in Siemens PLC-based automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for development, programming, Engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, of industrial automation systems across various industries.

Experience background €“ Working experience in OMAN market or Middle East Experience as Field Service Engineer. As a last option Indian market experience
Experience - 4-5 years of experience
Duration €“ Immediate Joiners in One month.
Salary package - OMR 700 per month.
Family Status €“ Unmarried (Preferably)
Other Perks €“ Company maintained vehicle with petrol card, company will provide mobile phone, insurance will be standard.

A. Key Responsibilities
1. PLC & Automation Support
€¢ Engineering, Programming, Testing, Commissioning and troubleshooting Siemens Automation systems (PCS7, PLC, SCADA, HMI and VFD (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500, WinCC, SINAMICS).
€¢ Hands-on experience with TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC, and WinCC Flexible.
€¢ New Development and Modification of the Siemens PLC programs to as per the application.
2. HMI, SCADA & Communication
€¢ Engineering, Development, modification, and maintenance of HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, WinCC Unified).
€¢ Configuration and troubleshooting of industrial communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
€¢ Integration of PLCs with third-party systems, instruments, and field devices.
3. Field Service & Maintenance
€¢ Provide on-site and remote technical support during plant breakdowns and emergencies.
€¢ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems.
€¢ Conduct FAT, SAT, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
€¢ Ensure system availability and minimize downtime in production environments.
4. Documentation & Compliance
€¢ Prepare and update technical documentation, PLC backups, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.
€¢ Ensure compliance with industrial standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
5. Customer & Team Coordination
€¢ Understanding the control philosophy of the requirement.
€¢ Supporting sales team in optimization of the technical solution.
€¢ Interface with customers, operations, maintenance teams, and OEMs for technical support.
€¢ Provide training and technical guidance to junior engineers and plant personnel.
€¢ Support project teams during system upgrades, expansions, and revamping activities.
B. Key Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills
€¢ Strong expertise in Siemens PLCs and automation systems.
€¢ Proficiency in TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC, and WinCC Unified.
€¢ Experience with VFDs, MCCs, instrumentation, and control panels.
€¢ Knowledge of industrial networks.
2. Soft Skills
€¢ Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
€¢ Excellent communication (Verbal & Writing) and customer-handling skills.
€¢ Ability to work independently under pressure in live plant environments.
€¢ Willingness to travel within Oman and work on-site as required.
3. Qualifications
€¢ Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical/mechatronics or bachelor€™s degree / Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or mechatronics Engineering.
€¢ Siemens certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
4. Industry Exposure (Preferred)
€¢ Oil & Gas, Power, Water & Wastewater, Manufacturing, Cement, Metals, or Process Industries.
