- As a fabrication fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal parts together to construct machines, structures, and other equipment.
- You will need to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate fabrication methods.
- Utilize various tools and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and measuring devices to accurately fabricate and fit metal components.
- Perform TIG welding to join metal parts together in accordance with the specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct grinding operations to smoothen rough edges and surfaces of fabricated metal parts for a precise finish.
